Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, before I forget. The presents are wrapped and the cookies are made, still feel like I'm running around a bit. Jeff is still painting a new desk for Shelby for Christmas. Jeff's Grandpa Starkey had a return visit to the hospital yesterday. Last week he was in for a heart attack and now he's back in with pneumonia and an infection. I'm sure he would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Jeff, Shel and I are off to Detroit the day after Christmas for the Motor City Bowl. I'm still trying to think of something creative that I can turn into a sign to hold up at the game. The game will be televised on ESPN at 4:00 - we're sitting near the 30 yard line about 30 rows up - look for us!! The University sold out of their alloted 9,000 tickets and there are 33 busses travelling from Akron to go to the game. It so great to see so much school spirit - finally.

I better get back to all the stuff that needs to be done. Hope you all have a blessed holiday and take time to remember to be joyful for the gift of the baby Jesus.
