For some reason this morning, Robbie's teacher wasn't waiting at the front of the school to get him out the car as she usually is. So, I decided to take a few minutes, park the car, and take him in myself. As I reached Montrose to do my shopping, a tractor trailer had just driven off the bridge above me a few minutes before I got there. The truck landed upside down across all the lanes of traffic, spilling his whole load of coal. I am so happy to say that the driver of the truck survived and he didn't land on anyone else.
During this time of year, you get so hectic that you forget to be thankful for the things you already have because you're so worried about the gifts that need to be bought and wrapped and the places you need to be. Well the rest of my shopping, cleaning and wrapping is cancelled this afternoon. Time to go sledding, make snowballs, and spend time with the kids. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Glad to hear you're okay! Close calls like that can really make you thankful. Thanks for the reminder.

Enjoy the snow for us. We've had snow in the forecast (just flurries) three or four times here and so far we haven't had a single flake. Take pictures so my kids will know what it actually looks like! ;o)
