As a past Zips fan, you can't imagine what it felt like to be with other 46,000 fans (I know not all of them were Zips fans) . Its been often, when we were able to count the other fans at the Rubber Bowl. We made the trek to Detroit with our friends the Shiets and the Hills. It was so cool to see the roads to Detroit filled with Zips fans. I don' think we ever made it on TV with our sign. We came really close at the end to winning it, but it never materialized. The Zips as usual gave a heart pounding 4th quarter performance. I guess we can't have it all in one year, hopefully we get a return trip next year. It's just nice to see the Zips with a fan base.
