We just received this picture from Bruce, so I thought I would add it to the blog. This is the only picture we have of all of us who ventured to North & South Carolina. It was so great having them us with, it helped keep us all a little more sane to know someone else was going through the same situation/problems. The kids loved having other kids to play with, too. Robbie & Amanda are similar in age and right up each others alley with their high energy. Shelby adored playing and watching over Alexis a.ka. Baby Doll. She really reminded us of a baby doll, you just want to pick her up and carry her around. Shelby kept telling her she was so cute that she wanted to eat her up. Poor Alexis thought Shelby was really going to eat her. Maritza had me cracking up night and day with her funny stories and she even brought me coffee (cafe de leche I think is what she called it) every morning in the hotel. It was awesome - really strong coffee, hot milk and plenty of sugar. Coffee has not been the same since I've come home!!
