As I write, kid #1 is riding the bus to school for her first day of 4th grade. It does seem to get easier every year, but the house still seems a little empty. This year Shelby has a man teacher again. We met him yesterday and he seems really nice. However, she doesn't have lunch or recess with her group of friends from kindergarten AGAIN. She always makes do, but I would like things to be easier for her. The scary thing to think about, is she will be in middle school in two more years riding the bus with the high school kids... I can't believe "my baby" is getting so old (and me too).
